Windows Phone is really one of the worse projects of Microsoft. This system failed the giant from Redmond and has not been supported by the creators for a long time. However, there is still a group of people who use it. Maybe because of the attachment to the smartphone on which it works, or maybe because of a lack of trust in Google or Apple (including privacy). However, their life with the phone is getting less and less enjoyable by removing the application.
Another developer who deletes his Windows Phone applications from the Microsoft Store is Facebook. Already on April 30 Facebook, Instagram and Messenger will be removed. These are some of the most popular and best-rated app stores in the store, so users will definitely feel it. Of course, they can still use the browser version, but this is not so convenient.
However, such a step should not surprise anyone. The system was officially killed in 2016, and in December 2018 security updates were released. From 2015, new and subsequent applications disappear from it, and users gather in communities on the network to discover possible replacements. It does, however, make owners of devices with this OS have to accept the lack of the primary purpose of a smartphone – making life easier.
